GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:
- book or cancel appointments online
- renew or order repeat prescriptions online
- view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results
You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. Viewing your GP record
You are now able to see all the information within your health record automatically. If you have an online account, such as through the NHS App, NHS website, or another online primary care service, you will now be able to see all future notes and health records from your doctor (GP). You must be aged 13 or over to use the NHS App.
Manage health services for others
As a parent, family member or carer, you may be able to add someone to your NHS App. This is sometimes called having a linked profile or having proxy access, click here to learn more about proxy access and apply online.
